La jugadora original de Senegal es el último refuerzo del IDK Euskotren, que llegó la pasada semana. En sietes días que lleva en Donostia lo que más le ha sorprendido de la ciudad es que no ha parado de llover “Llueve mucho, desde que he llegado ha llovido todos los días menos ayer, pero me han dicho que es normal. Me gustaría ver más es el sol” decía entre risas. Su fichaje por el IDK Euskotren pilló por sorpresa a la afición, pero ha contado que ya hace algunos años conoció el equipo “Hace dos años sé que hubo conversaciones para que pudiese venir al club, pero en ese momento estaba en otro sitio”. Su compañera Toch Sarr siguió hablándole muy bien del equipo “Toch ya me habló aquel verano muy bien del equipo y me dijo que podía ser una buena oportunidad”. A la pregunta de cómo explicar su juego a aquellos que no le conocer Niang ha explicado “Mi juego es ser tiradora, me gusta mucho tirar desde las esquinas y soy capaz de hacer pese a tener una jugadora encima”. Y de esta temporada espera “cumplir con las expectativas que se tienen sobre mí y subir posiciones en la clasificación ya que creo que podemos estar en el top 6”.
